Respect | Purpose | Dignity

The Mission

Hands 4Life pairs orphan children with orphan elders to create a beautiful new family. Through intergenerational homes, community outreach, and education, the circle of life is realized. Respect, purpose, and dignity are felt.

The Need

By the year 2050, the number of seniors worldwide is expected to double to more than 1.5 billion – 80% of whom will be living in developing countries.

The Vision

With God's Word and His will as our foundation, we envision a world where elders lead lives that are safe, healthy, and full of purpose.

How We Help

Meet The Seniors

Roberto is an asthmatic. When asked if he had an inhaler, he shared that he couldn’t afford the medication. Together with his wife, who also has Alzheimer’s and diabetes, they live with their son. For a man that has very little, he is rich in faith. He shared how greatly he desired for his days of suffering to end so that he could be with God, his Father in Heaven.

He is 78 years old and lives in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Gloria is a widow and a mother of seven children. As a result of diabetes, she has lost her left leg and is wheelchair bound. She desperately needs a new wheelchair as the one she is seated in is rusted. In her younger years, she created linens as a revenue stream to provide for her family.

She is 74 years old and lives alone in Choloma, Honduras.
