OUR BELIEFS
At Hands 4Life, our mission is deeply rooted in our Christian faith. We believe that serving the orphaned, the elderly, and the vulnerable is not only a calling but a command from God. Our work is an act of obedience to James 1:27, which calls us to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to live a life untainted by the world.
We affirm the following core beliefs:
GOD
We believe in one true and living God who exists eternally as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person of the Trinity is fully Godβequal in power, authority, and gloryβyet they are one in essence.Β
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, both fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and revealed the Kingdom of God through His teachings and miracles. He died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended to heaven and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. One day, He will return in glory and power.Β
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, sent to dwell in the hearts of believers. He convicts the world of sin, leads people into truth, empowers the Church, gives spiritual gifts, and bears fruit in the lives of Christians. He seals and secures every believer for the day of redemption.Β
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate source of truth for Christian faith and living. Scripture reveals Godβs character, His plan of redemption, and provides guidance for every area of life.
HUMANITY
God created humanity in His own image to live in fellowship with Him. Through Adamβs disobedience, sin entered the world, separating people from God. Because of this, all are born with a sinful nature and are in need of redemption, which is only found in Jesus Christ.Β
SALVATION
Salvation is a gift from God offered to all by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works or human effort. Through Christβs death and resurrection, we are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God. Eternal life begins the moment one trusts in Him.
THE CHURCH
The Church is the body of Christβmade up of all who believe in Him across the world and throughout history. It exists to glorify God, share the Gospel, make disciples, and serve others. The Church is not just a building, but a spiritual family living in unity, empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out Godβs mission on earth.Β
ETERNITY
We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ to establish His eternal Kingdom. Every person will spend eternity either in Godβs presence or separated from Him. Those who have trusted in Christ will enjoy eternal life with Him, while those who reject Him will face eternal judgment.Β
