About me
Sharon is 16 years old. At the age of 3 years Sharon had been abandoned by her mother who is suffering from mental illness. Her father’s addiction to alcohol and other drugs compounded her problems making her education and daily up keep difficult. This young girl was left with his elder brother who equally never finished his primary education and has no dependable source of livelihood except struggle to find food for his young family and the sister by doing menial jobs every day. He is currently under the care of her 73 years old grandfather who is living in deplorable condition. She is hopeful for a scholarship and looking for a sponsor who can join in her journey towards a better tomorrow!
Benefits of the program
Boys and girls enrolled in the program come to school each day and then return home to live in their villages with their families. Student sponsorship is $39 per month, or $468 annually. Your sponsorship provides students with an opportunity to regularly hear, see, and feel the Gospel, receive a daily nutritious meal, and learn from a quality curriculum, as well as providing training for teachers and school administrators.
