Meet Emmanuel, a brave young orphaned boy who dreams of having the same opportunities as every other child to go to school, have enough to eat, receive medical care, and grow up in a safe and loving environment.
He is the first born son in a family of three children. Life has not been kind to them since the disappearance of their father 4 years ago during political unrest in Kenya.
The search has not yielded any positive report and lately the family has given up and suspect their loved one must have been killed and buried in an unknown place. Trauma, depression and suffering has been the order of the day in Emmanuel’s family.
His mother had always struggled to do small jobs to provide for him and the two siblings, Silas and Brivian. This is no longer the case. Five months ago, the mother started showing signs of mental health issues which recently worsened and she abandoned the kids. Sometimes she is seen in different distance places, walking in markets and even sleeping along the road.
This boy needs help to get education and he is hopeful that God will bring a kind-hearted person to change his story.
