I got married in 1967, and sadly my husband passed so many years ago. We have two grown daughters who are not married nor working. It doesn’t give me joy. I had a partial stroke and was also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. My Alzheimer’s got bad because I was being taken to a prayer house because people around me thought I had some kind of spiritual problems. My greatest challenges are medical support and food supply.
Hands 4Life does so much to care for grandparents. For example, we provide education about dementia, food for the abandoned and neglected and healthcare for those in need. Hands 4Life is changing the way the world views the grandparent generation.
