About me
Imagine being twelve years old and waking up to an empty stomach, knowing you cannot go to school because you do not have shoes or a uniform.
For children like young Jackline Anyango, this is not an imagination it is daily reality.
Jackline is part of Hands 4Life Kenya family and dreams of becoming a teacher. But right now, her dreams are blocked by survival. She often goes the entire day without a proper meal while missing classes because school fees are unpaid.
Her clothes are worn-out and a simple fever becomes a crisis because her disabled mother has no source of livelihood for medical care and cannot afford basic household essentials following the death of her husband who was the sole provider.
We cannot change the world overnight, but you can completely change the world for one child today. We are appealing for support to provide a critical lifeline for Jackline and children just like her.
Benefits of the program
Boys and girls enrolled in the program come to school each day and then return home to live in their villages with their families. Student sponsorship is $39 per month, or $468 annually. Your sponsorship provides students with an opportunity to regularly hear, see, and feel the Gospel, receive a daily nutritious meal, and learn from a quality curriculum, as well as providing training for teachers and school administrators.
