Statement Of Faith

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons.  The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence,or being. He is intelligent, spiritual, and a personal Being, the Creator, the Sole Redeemer of man, the Preserver, and the Ruler of the universe. God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, according to the purposes of His grace. He is all-powerful, all-loving, and all wise.

Genesis 1:1, 26-27; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 26:8; Acts 17:2-34; II Corinthians 13:14; I Peter 1:2

Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, and the second person of the Trinity. He was born of a virgin through miraculous conception. He lived a sinless life, offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for all sins, died on the cross, and arose after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He sits at the right hand of God as the exclusive mediator between God and man and will return again to earth to rule and reign.

Matthew 1:18-23, Matthew 28:1-6, Acts 1:9, Acts 1:11, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 3:4-5

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, equal with God the Father and Jesus the Son. He remains on earth as the Comforter for every Believer, empowering them with an understanding of spiritual truth. There is a separate and distinct infilling of the Holy Spirit for the endowment of power which is subsequent to the salvation experience. There are nine fruits of the Spirit that are

evidence of a Spirit-filled life and spiritual maturity.

John 14:16-17, John 14:26, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:31, 1 Corinthians 14, Galatians 5:22-23

It is the inerrant (incapable of being wrong) Word of God. It is the only supernaturally-inspired, written revelation from God to man, and it is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Peter 2:22.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Matthew 24:27, 30, 36, &44, 25:31-46; I Thessalonians 4:14-18, 5:1; II Peter 3:7; Revelation 1:18, 3:11, 20:1-22:13

Faith in Jesus Christ is the sole source of salvation from sin and reconciliation with God.  Salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned.  Only through faith in Jesus Christ can man be returned to a right relationship with God.
