Advocating for a Forgotten Generation
At Hands 4Life USA, we are redefining senior living in America. We believe the future is intergenerational. Our mission is to create vibrant communities where vulnerable seniors and children come together to learn, grow, and thrive.
The aging population is growing at an unprecedented rate. In the U.S., millions of seniors face loneliness and neglect, lacking the care and companionship they deserve. H4L USA is committed to protecting and honoring our elders, ensuring their later years are filled with love, purpose, and dignity.
We believe no one should age alone. Through our initiatives, we provide joy for seniors while teaching younger generations the circle of life – generations caring for each other during all seasons of life.
Advocating for Policy Change
We’re working to influence U.S. policies to support intergenerational living. The United States is not prepared for the demographic shift ahead. By 2034, adults over 65 will outnumber children for the first time in history. At the same time, families are smaller, more dispersed, and financially strained.
Senior housing, childcare, healthcare, and zoning policies are still built around separation by age.
We believe that model is outdated.
Hands 4Life is working to influence public policy so intergenerational living and learning become supported, funded, and incentivized at the local, state, and federal level. We are building a model that policymakers can study, measure, and replicate.
Promoting Intergenerational Communities Today
While we work to build the first intergenerational educational campus in Jacksonville, FL, Hands 4Life USA is actively creating intergenerational communities across the country today. Through shared experiences, we are changing lives and demonstrating the power of intergenerational connections.
